Breaking News! Two Bomb Explosions Kill People At A Football Viewing Centre (Photo)

A twin explosion, Saturday evening, rocked a football viewing centre in Ajilari ward, Jere Council area of Maiduguri,According to Vangard  The Borno state capital killing several football fans. The Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), said to have been planted by suspected Boko Haram terrorists at the viewing centre in Ajilari Railway Cross,  exploded at about 6pm,  killing many fans, while several others sustained injured. A residents of Ajilari told our Correspondent that, “Some suspected terrorists in two Toyota Hilux which normally went along the streets of Maiduguri streets selling firewood disguised themselves as firewood sellers and on reaching their target point, they detonated the explosion close to the viewing centre, a situation that caused the lost of many people’s lives,  living others seriously injured” So as for all of una wey dey like to watch football for viewing centre beware ooo!!!!

The Senate in Abuja on Thursday passed a bill that will legally protect persons with disability from discrimination. Sponsored by Sen. Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman (PDP-Kogi), the bill seeks to integrate such persons into the society and establish a commission for persons with disability. The bill, titled ‘Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Bill, 2014′, prescribes a fine of N1m for corporate bodies and N100,000 or six months imprisonment or both for an individual who contravenes the law. Sen. Adamu Gumba (PDP-Bauchi) presented the report of the Senate Joint Committee on Sports, Social Development and Women Affairs on the bill. Child-bride, Wasila Umar, accused of killing her husband and three of his friends while injuring many others after she served them poisoned food, in Kano, says she regrets her action. “Mine was a classical example of youthful exuberance; it dawned on me shortly after that it was a joke taken too far to resolve a forced marriage question”, Wasila, 14, said.
