[TECH] Samsung to pay $930 million to Apple in damages for patent infringement

If there is anything we have learned from copyright infringement cases, it’s that: It is bad to copy other people’s stuff.

A U.S court jury has ordered the Korean company (Samsung) to pay a sum of $930 million to Apple after the jury decided that Samsung were guilty of copying Apple’s design and  other functions that originally featured on the iPhone which includes use of finger to zoom and pinch the screen.

The ruling was made in Northern California on Thursday, 6th of March 2014.

This is not the first case between the two companies as Samsung paid Apple $1 billion last year[In Coins].

FOOTBALL: Inter-Milan Set To Sign John Obi Mike For £10m

Eighteen-time Italian champions Internazionale are ready to stump £10m (about N2.7 billion) for Nigeria international midfielder, John Obi Mikel. The British media reported last week that Internazionale president, Erick Thohir flew to London to watch Chelsea’s Uefa Champions League quarterfinal match against PSG at Stamford Bridge to monitor Mikel and a host of other Blues players.
