Three suspected kidnappers were early this morning burnt to death by a mob along Ijoko Road, Sango, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria. The suspected kidnappers were accused of abducting a young woman who was shouting to be freed inside their vehicle. A witness, Mr. Ade Sunday, who was at the scene of the incident explained that the suspects struggled to keep their victim inside the car but she fought vigorously for her life and was pushed out of the vehicle at Gas Line Bus Stop, Ijoko, Ogun State. On getting down, the young woman started shouting: ‘kidnappers, kidnappers’, and this attracted the attention of commuter bus drivers and Okada riders who pursued the suspects. They caught up with them at the bus stop. “The suspects were coming from Papalanto area of Ifo, Ogun State. They were taking her to Ijoko. A pregnant road sweeper working with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has been crushed to death. The deceased identified as Mrs. Kikelomo Bamidele was crushed at Ojota, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, by a petrol tanker with registration number Kano NSR 592 YQ while working inside the BRT lane near the pedestrian bridge. P.M.NEWS gathered that the road sweeper died at the Lagos State Emergency Centre at the old toll gate of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway where she was rushed. Witnesses at the scene of the accident revealed that the accident occurred as a result of break failure. “The tanker driver had break failure and was trying to manouver the vehicle when he veered into the BRT Lane where he crushed the sweeper. A 30-year old house wife, Mrs Chizoba Ejike, has been charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, western Nigeria for allegedly biting off her neighbor’s ear and swallowing it in anger. The victim, Mrs. Ndid Eze, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but the chopped off portion of her ear could not be recovered as it had been allegedly swallowed by the suspect. A new born baby abandoned by her mother was recently discovered in a swampy dump-site around Great Aduke School, Victory Estate in Iba area of Lagos. Nigerian film-maker and Nollywood icon, producer Fuji house of commotion, Amaka Igwe has shockingly passed on at 51. The sad incident occurred yesterday in Enugu where she had gone, in company of her husband, for pre-production preparations for a new Igbo soap. She suffered an asthma attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital after initial interventions had failed. She passed on before getting to the hospital. A teenager in Lagos is in trouble with the law after reports that he stabbed his sister in the Apapa area of the state and then fled the scene of the crime. The 17-year-old boy, simply identified as Francis, is said to have told his older sister, Mary to stop dating a certain man named as Isiaka. Mary however did not listen to her brother as he could not produce any evidence of what Isiaka had done wrong.
