[FOOTBALL] Maradona To Return To Football At 53

Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona is reportedly keen on making a sensational return to football.
According to Metro.co.uk, known simply as ‘God’ and considered to be the best player of all times , the 53-year-old legend is said to be in touch with the Argentine club Deportivo Riestra, over a deal to join them till the season’s end.

The report mentioned that Maradona was put in touch with the club by one of his advisors who owns shares there, and is said to make his debut on March 23.
A source from Riestra club has confirmed that the paperwork has been filed with the authorities and in a few weeks the legendary footballer would be playing for the club.

The 1986 World Cup winner who was allegedly struggling with his weight in recent years is now in good enough shape to start a match on March 23.
The report also added that Maradona is ‘keen to play’ and Victor More, a midfielder for the club, said he would ‘definitely’ give up his number 10 shirt to the Argentine ‘God’.

Woman Bites Off, Swallows Neighbour’s Ear In Lagos

A 30-year old house wife, Mrs Chizoba Ejike, has been charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, western Nigeria for allegedly biting off her neighbor’s ear and swallowing it in anger. The victim, Mrs. Ndid Eze, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but the chopped off portion of her ear could not be recovered as it had been allegedly swallowed by the suspect. According to their neighbours, the suspect committed the offence while fighting the victim at their residence at 20, Brinfalami Street, Ejigbo, Lagos State. During the fight, Mrs. Ejike allegedly grabbed the victim’s left ear and bit off a portion. P.M.NEWS learnt that the two women have always fought since they started living in the house.
